Paul, in Lingerie

The pain and frustration of a young man dealing with his homosexuality set the theme of this story. Life in the lingerie department of a large downtown store is disrupted in an amusing way by this charming, loveable and fun-loving gay salesman. Paul persuades the manager into giving him the job, despite the usual practice of hiring females for that department. A mean-spirited supervisor tries to entrap him, nearly costing him his job but he prevails. His enchanting mannerisms drive his success until he stumbles across a fellow salesperson who develops a serious illness and needs Paul's support at a crucial time.
