Suffice it to say that beginning in October 1999 with the burglary of his parents home, defendant David James Casper embarked on a month-long crime spree. He was ultimately apprehended and charged with 35 felony counts, including carjacking, residential burglary, 25 robbery counts, four attempted robbery counts, numerous personal use of a firearm enhancements, two prior prison term allegations, and one prior serious or violent felony strike allegation.
