Permanent Revolution

This book describes the Russian Revolution and the first ten years of the Soviet regime through the eyes of Leon Trotsky and his theory of permanent revolution. Believing that both permanent and international revolution were necessary for socialism to be successful, Trotsky saw the Bolshevik Revolution as a matter of life or death for the Russian proletarian dictatorship.
