Pete

Neglected and abused by his stepmother, Gloria, Pete is forced to live in the basement of his home during the week when his father travels for his job. At first, Pete doesnt realize that the other children arent treated this way, but when Gloria starts chasing and hitting him, his friends, Jenny and Calvin tell him that he needs to tell an adult.
The three of them tell Jennys nanny, Argo, the story and she offers to help.
One afternoon, after Gloria slams him against the house and his hand got cut by a glass Pete is holding, Pete runs away. The police look for him, but find no trace.
