Phades - Lost Souls

This book contains two short stories, plus a very short (flash fiction) story, and also the first episode included in the book 'The Old Store: A Science Fiction Anthology' (four stories in total).

In the story 'Curious Crackers' some Christmas crackers have an unexpected effect.

In the story 'Phades - Lost Souls' a global network of quantum generators has been activated but instead of providing universal power, black tentacles of quantum fog drag Stacey and many of the important guests at the inauguration ceremony through a rift in space time. Out of phase, they drift helplessly. Then the phantoms appear. Are they the dead returning or the living trapped in the wrong dimension? This is the short version of the longer story 'Phantoms of the Quantum Rift'.
