Publisher Description
Phi Mu is the second oldest female fraternal organization established in the United States. The fraternity was founded at Wesleyan College in Macon, Georgia as the Philomathean Society on January 4, 1852, and was announced publicly on March 4 of the same year.
The sisters of the Phi Gamma Chapter have highly benefited from the many academic and leadership opportunities made possible by the Phi Mu Foundation. To give back, we created this cookbook, where all proceeds go to the Foundation. We chose to do a cookbook to represent the cultural diversity among our 51 sisters. Our sisters come from over fifteen different countries and speak over seventeen different languages. We celebrate our diversity and wanted to share it with the rest of the world. For generations our families have bonded over meals, and we invite you to be a part of that family as we share these traditions and recipes with you.
