Aubrey
I fell for the wrong man once, and I swore never again.
I’m so good with being single that when my childhood friend, Clint, needs to make sure he has health insurance for his daughter, I’m happy to fake marry him and let him have mine.
Then a blast from our past, Clint’s ex-boyfriend from high school, shows up at my vintage clothing shop. Brodie tells me he and I are engaged, thanks to a chance meeting with my grandmother.
How does that happen?
Now I’m caught between the fake husband no one knows about and the fake fiancé everyone is gossiping about, with each of them interested in making our arrangement real and long term. Both of them are better at making me feel loved than I imagined was possible. Can I risk falling again?
When I catch not-my-guys-after-all making out with each other, I have to admit… A happy ending may not be in my future.

Fun story
Too funny, Aubrey is single and in the blink of an eye, she is married to childhood friend for insurance purposes and engaged to another friend. Funny, quirky, fun characters with enough drama and plenty of steam. Aubrey, Clint and Brodie's story is not unique in Haddarville, where everybody knows everybody and the everything in their lives. Spellbinding story that will pull on your heartstrings.
Unconventional and Loving It
Aubrey owns Pin-up Princess on Main Street - she’s happy being single, she’s got great friends and a great life. But, she could use a fake fiancé to get her family off her back. Enter Brodie. Plus Clint, who needs Aubrey to be his on paper wife for health insurance. But Clint and Brodie have ancient high school romantic history… I just loved these three together. Their relationship was just easy when everything else in their lives was hard. I loved coming back to Haddarville and seeing the whole gang again. Another great book in a terrific series.
