Plain And Simple

This is plain and simple novel about law enforcement in Pueblo, Colorado. The characters include Jerico Magee a homicide detective who is appointed sheriff following the death of the previous incumbant. Magee takes over a department in sad shape and enlists the help of his Chief Deputy Penny Booker. Magee and Booker make a good team as they investigate homicides, corruption and battle the mob, staying one step ahead of an assisin.
