Poetry From the Heart

Poetry is in many peoples opinion, a collection of short sentences that rhyme, and are said with a rhythm, these people tend to think that poems are lighthearted, fun and humorous; but in reality this is only true of around 15% of all poems you will ever read!

The poems in this anthology might rhyme, but sometimes not; they might have rhythm but again not always; and whilst they tend to cover dark, deep and meaningful subjects.. I do try and convey at least some of them in a light hearted manner!


What is my reason for writing poetry, this book, this introduction? its not as a means of self-promotion, nor is it a money making scheme.. it is quite simply a way of expressing myself, ranting, and letting people know who I really am.. without having to deal with the potentially different treatment I could receive.
