This time Pook enters the high class antique world in partnership with the beautiful Olga, and financed by Honners. At once we plunge into the antique dealer’s life of auctions, private buying and other means of unearthing the treasures essential to this unique trade.

Set against Pook’s accurate background of business practice we see our hero encounter the hazards of the profession in the shape of eccentric dealers, awkward customers and difficult situations. In his search for success Pook meets the girl of his dreams, the lovely female Viking called Tora, while Olga is wooed by Yosseff, a wealthy Arab prince.

The resultant havoc is a hilarious romance, but the book will have an additional appeal to everybody who has paused by the window of an old curiosity shop.
