Mick Holtzman is a Corporal of Marines leading a squad through the jungles and highlands of I Corps. He, like his men have one major focus, survival. Survival and the plane ride home. A home that becomes less recognizable with each day endured in Vietnam. Holtzman wears the coat of responsibility as if it were a garment tailored just for him. Through each firefight, pitched battle, and confrontation his connection to these men grows stronger.
