Pretext

Two best friends. One weekend in Nashville. A routine traffic stop that changes everything. Erin Walsh and Megan Callahan came to Music City for a little freedom. Instead, they're arrested for a crime they didn't commit. The evidence is overwhelming. Their lives are unraveling. And someone powerful has gone to extraordinary lengths to make sure they take the fall.

Attorney Lori Tolliver and her brother, private investigator Shaun Tolliver, know a setup when they see one. But what begins as a fight to clear two innocent women exposes a conspiracy reaching into the highest levels of government. Witnesses are silenced. Evidence disappears. And the closer the Tollivers get to the truth, the more dangerous the investigation becomes. Someone engineered the perfect crime. Now they'll do anything to keep it buried.
