The one she's never really noticed before, with the rumored dark past and a brooding stare that cuts right through her.
There's something he isn't telling her. But there's something she's not telling him, either.
Everyone has secrets, and theirs might get them killed.

Mean Girls amplified
I haven’t read a YA thriller in so long and Pretty Dead Girls was so great. I do have to say that the beginning seemed a little slow-paced, but once the action started, it was a crazy wild ride. So if this happens with you, just keep pushing. You won’t be disappointed.
This book read like an addictive tv series and that is exactly how I pictured it all going on in my head. From the girls being frenemies, competing for dominance in the high school, and fighting over boys, there was so much drama happening without all the killings going on. Add the serial killer aspect and holy crap - so good.
Cass and Penelope’s chemistry throughout the book was intriguing. Two unlikely characters that came together and worked really well - gasoline-on-a-fire hot. The back and forth between them, the uncertainty in Penelope whether she could trust Cass was palatable. With a target in her back, figuring out who she could trust, that added another element to the thrill. Loved it all.
I received an advanced copy of this book and VOLUNTARILY decided to review it
