Wonderful Wholesome Romance
Heather is a former foster child and comes with some baggage. Grayson had recently had his engagement broken off by a woman who wanted ‘more’ than him, leaving some hurt and scepticism. When they meet he is, frankly, terrible to her, despite his justification. But he comes around when he starts to have feelings for her, until he doesn’t. Given the degree of his distrust and hurt, I would think and hope it would take more than four days of gifts to win her back. It is, nonetheless, sweet, wholesome and heartwarming to see the members of this small town rally around Heather, doing what is right and loving by her.
