Promises

Two women promise that no matter where life leads, they will always be friends. But fate has them marrying mortal enemies. Eunice, small and beautiful, marries a Pharisee and Onnua, tall and plain, marries a tax collector for Rome. Their lives take very different paths and their husbands hate keeps them apart. One day Zaccheus, the publican, brings Jesus, a new prophet in Isreal, home for lunch. Is He the long-awaited Messiah? Will His visit change these two men? What about the promise made by Eunice and Onnua?
