The Great I AM Bible Story Series for Kids

A lot of different things happened during the time the Bible was written. If everything that happened had been written down, the biggest house in the world would not hold all the books.

That’s why it can be great fun to imagine how things might have been that did not get written down. While each of the six books in The Great I AM Bible Story Series for Kids is faithfully based on true events recorded in the Bible, our stories are imagination stories, allowing a peek over the shoulders of those who might have been there. Imagine being a bird or a stone, or even a young boy or girl—just like you—who was there and saw God at work in and through His people.

1. Ears for the queen: There were places in the palace where even the queen could not go, and there were things she should hear which might save her life. What she needed were ears that could listen and report to her. How about a ten-year-old girl, named Suzannah? Based on the Book of Esther.
2. Magic Water: A wedding was very important and it would be shameful to the family if the guests did not have all they wanted to eat and drink. But what could be done when the wine ran out? That day there just happened to be a way to keep that from happening. Just imagine that a lonely little girl was there to watch it all? Based on John 2.
3. Timothy & the fiery chariot (brief): A story can be told in many ways, and you probably won’t forget this one—or the way it is told. Based on II Kings 2:1–15.
4. The princess & tamar: Tamar must travel to a far away country with her family and others. They were led by Nehemiah, as he follows God’s commandment to return them to their homeland. She experiences hardships of the trip and some miraculous happenings. Who would have thought she could change so much in one short time?  Based on Nehemiah 1–3. 
5. Timothy & the tiny cloud (brief): A little faith, a big God, and everything changes. Based on I King18: 42–46.



AUTHOR BIO

Joann Klusmeyer, the author, is the daughter of pioneer missionary parents. She grew up in rural Arkansas and learned and served in the little country church her father built and then pastored. 

Ms. Klusmeyer is a prolific author with over 50 titles to her credit (and counting).
