'Put Yourself in His Place' is a novel by Charles Reade in which he depicts one of his favourite topics: trade unions in England at the end of the 18th and the beginning of the 19th century. The main character of the story is an inventor Henry Little who finds himself involved in a conflict with trade union activists.
