Quid Pro Quo

When former Marine sniper and Boston police detective, Mike Houston, gets a call from a ghost out of his past, the threat is unmistakable: his daughter will die unless Houston finds the assassin first. Desperate, Houston turns to the only man ruthless enough to help--his brother-in-law, South Boston mobster Jimmy O'Leary. 

Jimmy O agrees, but only on his terms: a deadly quid pro quo. He wants Houston's skills in a gang war with the Russian mob. But, Houston swore he would never again be used as a weapon--not for a badge, not for a cause, and never in a criminal enterprise.

As he stalks a killer through the Maine woods and shadows Russian operatives across Boston, Houston faces a battle he was never trained for: the war between his code and his daughter's life. Every step draws him closer to a line he may not come back from.
