The stories include: At the Zoo, I Can Count (Numbers to 10), Rocket Count Down, How Do You Feel and I Like. These contain simple words that are supported by pictures to give young children who are learning to read the confidence they need to predict words and to read by themselves.
For more advanced early readers Level 1, look at the Rabbit Readers Set 1 and Set 2 books. Other books to help your child learn to read are the Sight Word book, ABC alphabet phonics sounds book, How to Blend Sounds book and a More Complex Sounds book in the series. There are also similar books for Christmas stories, Halloween and Easter. Your child will love these easy to read stories, jokes, tongue twisters and riddles.

Not decodable
This is NOT a good reader for new learners. The pictures and the pattern of the book are what makes the child ‘appear’ to be reading. Take the pictures away and a new reader won’t be able to read any of this. There are complex phonics patterns in lots of the words. This reader encourages a child to guess at the words using the pictures and that is NOT what skilled readers do.
