Rakshabandhan Celebrates the unconditional love and affection between brother and sisters. Raksha means 'protection' and Bandhan means 'bond'. On this day, sisters tie the sacred thread 'Rakhi' on their brothers' wrists which symbolizes the sister's love and prayer for the well-being and good future of their brothers and the brother's lifelong vow to protect their sisters. Rakshabandhan also enhances the emotions of brotherhood and togetherness and strengthens the unity in the people of India.
