Randi's Hair

Four-year-old Randi Jarrett treasures her hair like a crown. She soon realizes that her hair and her moods are interchangeable. Randi's hair is so much more than just a hairstyle. It's a sense of her identity, self-confidence, and self-empowerment. Randi sees her self-worth at such a young age. Her confidence doesn't allow her to let anyone or anything define her or put her in a bubble. Even as a little girl she understands that her hair makes a statement, it is what makes her unique, and through each style, she shows off just how unique she is. 

Randi's hair is an inspirational children's book, to encourage girls and boys that they should not be defined by their hair. While their hair is a representation and reflection of their cultural differences, they should feel empowered to embrace their unique features and understand just how important those features are to who they are. Children must feel empowered, confident, and resilient in all that they do because it helps build character, self-love, and appreciation for oneself.
