The sun was already at its zenith over the village of Benos, and it was a beautiful day within its protective walls. The aroma of fresh apple pie and a variety of dried vegetables filled the air, thanks to the farmers selling their produce at the village market. Birds were singing, but in the distance the sound of metal clashing shattered the peaceful atmosphere of the village. Outside the south wall, the guards trained in pairs to counter the magical projectiles of the 50 year old Fairy Sorceress, Captain Serena Of Benos. Thanks to her Fairy heritage Serena looked no older than 30. Her shiny crystalline skin was covered in reinforced leather armor, and in her gloved hands she held two pistols that she could channel her magical energy to shoot magical projectiles.
