I honestly read this book twice before I felt able to leave a review! New characters galore!
There is a saying, ‘when life gives you lemons, make lemonade’. I see Alaric doing just that, and he has no clue who those lemons came from.
For me, this was a dark book, showing a side of a character I’m not sure I was ready to see. Does that mean I don’t like the book? Far from it!! It is one of those books I can see myself re-reading again and again. I still feel like I’ve missed something, or misread something.
I just don’t want to wait for the rest of the story!
