Red -Sammy Hagar
Caught Sammy and his band opening for Aerosmith in Toronto recently and saw a true-blue rocker. His book really connects a lot of the dots in the rock world and spins a great tale of a musician slugging it out during that line climb to the top.
No surprises about his later Van Halen days, substance abuse reining supreme and Sammy caught in the tempest that was the brothers Van Halen. He did well to recount that part of his journey with his brand of open depiction.
Overall, enjoyed the book, a couple of days of reading was easy as the story is well pieced together. Thanks for sharing all of this Sammy!
This is an excellent read! I could not put it down. Thank you Sammy, you rock!
