Publisher Description
Abstract Nursing is currently challenged with numerous competing theoretical frameworks. With these diverse conceptual systems grounded within disparate paradigms, nursing scientists must discern which of the developing paradigms hold the greatest validity and utility for nursing. This discussion addresses Rogers' Science of Unitary Human Beings in terms of Kuhn's requirement for explanatory power. Exemplars are presented and challenges for the future are discussed.
