I knew in that moment I had lost him. It was like all we had ever worked for, looked forward too, planned, had been thrown away in that one moment. I knew my life was going to change. I knew this was the start of the new chapter of our lives. But I never thought it would turn out like this. They say it will never happen to you, I wish I had got that in writing.
