Unexpected Alliance
Meda needs to get out of a bad situation asap. When Vorok catches her, she thinks it’s over - but then Vorok offers to help her escape. I really enjoyed this story - Vorok’s character pleasantly had more depth than I expected, and while the romance as “insta-“ elements, it still builds and feels authentic. A fun read.
Sweet novella
This was a cute novella which followed a tried and true trope. Meda was stronger than she had a right to be (as the pampered princess of a businessman with questionable ethics) but she found her path when she ran from him straight into the arms of Vorok. I loved the ending so much and it moved this story from a three to a four star quick read.
