Chief of Police Judith "Jude" Verbeck thought her job would be easy. Moving back to her hometown of Fryburg, Pennsylvania would give Jude an opportunity to bring a little sophistication to the rural Appalachian town while allowing her to return to her first true love - law enforcement.
