Return to Destiny

While growing up in the small town of Destiny, Missouri, as the

daughter of commercial beef producers, Jessie Franklin develops

strong values that include a relationship with God. When she leaves

to attend college in St. Louis, she has no idea that her values will

eventually be challenged in ways she never imagined. When she

returns to Destiny six years later for a summer visit, Jessie soon realizes

that she is not the only one who has changed.

As she reconnects with old friends and meets new ones, Jessie tries

to acclimate to a town seemingly locked in time. Her high school

boyfriend, Scott Kent, has taken over his father’s business because of

an illness in the family, and his attitude toward everything is different

than Jessie remembers. Now only time will tell if she will discover

what is behind the changes in Scott, and whether she will learn the

important difference between religion and a relationship with Jesus.

In this heartwarming tale of love and faith, a young woman visiting

her hometown embarks on a journey of self-discovery where she must

face her past, present, and future.
