In the process of researching, transcribing, and comparing tribal music many common patterns have been found. These patterns don't end in tribal music— they can be found throughout the world today. Tracking these rhythms allows us to determine the origin and possible even age of each rhythm, depending on its geographical location and its link with the history of mankind. This book is an initial guide to learn some of the most used rhythms in the Middle East.
