Publishers Weekly Review is Moronic
This is one of my favourite books in the whole series. It doesn’t disappoint at all, Avery’s rise is well crafted and draws you into his character as much as Jimmy The Hand. This book reminds me of Lloyd Alexander’s writing style/ filled with one adventure after another, great characters and an insight into the aspects of human nature which allows us a chance to forgive ourselves for the same failings as the characters.
The whole series is fantastic, I’ve been happily re-reading these books every year.
Feist is one of the genre’s most gifted talents.
