Publisher Description

Rock 'n' Roll poetry is a collection of thoughts running on an obvious theme. They are either, poems or rhymes inspired by 20th century popular music legends in some cases, in others it is just the feel of the subject which perhaps lends itself to the genre, and the style. Some were originally written as song lyrics.

I had always been interested in lyrics, and the stories, or vignettes which they managed to convey. One evening while hosting my nightly radio show on Radio Luxembourg 208, ( A pop music station which was nationally heard throughout the UK.) I thought as I listened to Springsteen and Dylan, two exemplary musical wordsmiths, I would have a try! So if you ever wondered what radio DJs do while the records are playing...well some try to write poetry!

Some music needs no words, some words need no music. But in both cases, both partners like to be taken dancing.

I sincerely hope you like the music, and the dance.
