Rocky Mountain Wildflowers

Rocky Mountain Wildflowers presents a photo tour of 24 common wildflowers found in the Rocky Mountains and Colorado. There are 120 photographs contained in interactive galleries, all of which can be enlarged with a tap for full screen viewing. All the photographs have been beautifully optimized for the new iPad. 

These are wildflowers you would likely find on a summer hike in the Rockies, but by no means is this a complete list of even the common wildflowers that can be found. This book is not intended to be a field guide for identification, but some basic information is provided for each plant. In addition, there are links to the web and to Wiki for more detailed information about each wildflower. 

The enjoyment of wildflowers and photography seem to naturally go hand in hand. Today, even inexpensive point & shoot cameras have many advanced features.  The last section contains some tips for the causal photographer for taking better wildflower photos.
