Someone wants Jase Wheaton dead.

He's been the rodeo champ for three years in a row, but someone is looking to unseat his reign, permanently.

Kelly Lane's brake lines are cut just hours after helping a bull rider who insisted someone is trying to murder him. Now the plot has spread to her. When she reaches out to Jase, hoping they can find someone who will believe they're in danger, the attacker strikes again.  

The clock is ticking down to the final ride of the season. Everyone is a suspect as the attacks keep mounting. Jase and Kelly grow closer, but when the killer makes themselves known, Jase isn't sure he'll survive to see another day.
