When inspiration is gathered from a source so established in our lives, greatness can blossom. That inspiration is no one other than Ruby Johnson. Ruby was the namesake for RubyLane.com and is the mother of Ruby Lane's, Founder & CEO, Thomas Johnson. When thinking of Thomas' childhood, being surrounded by vintage collectibles and fine antiques comes to mind. However, the aroma of his mother's cooking was the true ingredient to making his house a home. Ruby is the epitome of what makes a homemaker. Known for her talented hand in the kitchen, Ruby was our inspiration behind the RubyLaneBlog series, Retro Recipes. The popularity of the blog series sparked the idea for the creation of the Ruby's Retro Cookbook. This cookbook is a creative combination of recipes new and old from Ruby's very own secret vault, Ruby Lane's shop owners' and talented staff members.
