Run Elvin‪!‬

Written as a love letter, not in the simplicity of words, but in the depth of a father's soul to his son, Run Elvin!, is about what it means to lose everything except the need to keep moving through – camps, borders, and the weight of someone else's rules: quotas, policies, and decisions made by distant powers that decide who stays, who goes, and who waits indefinitely. Gaby wrote this book, not to explain but to remember, to fight forgetting – to hold onto the faces, the places and the truths that time and silence try to erase.

Gabriel Ndayishimiye is a Rwandan-Canadian writer based in London ON. In 2022 Gaby launched LivenBooks, a non-profit publishing house as a way to let others speak, to let their voices that never get heard carve their truths into the world. It's not clean. I's not easy. But it's real, and that's the point.
