RV Dead Yet

A recently retired couple are the prime suspects in a murder on the first leg of their cross-country RV trip.

What was supposed to be a relaxing vacation—marital squabbles aside—turns into a high-stakes investigation in this cozy mystery by award–winning author Penny Warner.

As soon as they turned sixty-five, Bonita (Bunny) and Frank Nickerson retired, left their home in the care of their daughter, and bought a used Winnebago. Then, they hit the road for what they hoped would be the cross-country bucket list trip of a lifetime. The plan: to visit as many National Parks as possible, starting with Yosemite. 

But plans go off course when their RV hits a bump in the road…

After bickering for miles along winding desert roads, they finally reach the Happy Trails RV “Resort” located just outside of Yosemite National Park. When Frank hits a large speed bump on the way in, he thinks nothing of it. The next morning, Bonita discovers a matted golden doodle. But the stray dog’s sudden interest in the dark smudge on the RV’s front bumper makes Bonita wonder if the speed bump from the night before might’ve been something else altogether.

When the police come knocking about a long-time RV resident’s sudden death, the Nickersons must race to get to the bottom of the mystery, and hopefully clear their names along the way—before their road trip comes to a dead end…
