This little book of poems is rich with insight. There are magical word images that help us connect with the natural world. There is insight into experiences that are common and yet utterly unusual. Brenda has a gift of calm, patient, observation. She honed her gifts from years of experience as a Midwife, sharing in the sacred gift of birth. Her unusual perspective comes from being an Anglo female, who lived on two Indian reservations, loving the people and welcoming their babies onto the planet.
