Saved Too Late

My book is about my life up to the age of 17 years old. My mother did not want me as a baby and my mother's parents took me in, I was so happy with living with my grandparents, I loved them very much, Staying with my mother again was very different especially once she had a new boyfriend and horrible abuse started from a very young age. My mother was warned yet did nothing to save me and my two brothers from not just mental, and physical maltreatment but sexual abuse. After both the boys  had been taken into care, I was left there to suffer. It took growing into a teenager and losing everything I loved to loosen their hold on me but being believed was another story. Somehow I survived, became hardened and found new ways to block out the hate and pain although it was not until I was saved by my real father that  life began to change.
