Scientific Literacy 100

Scientific Literacy 100 encompasses written, numerical, and digital literacy as they pertain to understanding science, its methodology, observations, and theories. The purpose of the DSL 100 iBook is to provide the framework for evaluating scientific knowledge, ethics, and experimentation. As such, it introduces the reader to the tools of science, as well as providing guidelines for interpreting the validity of science information that students may encounter in every day experiences. Finally, students are introduced in chronological order, to both scientists and non-scientists who have contributed to major discoveries about the natural world from the great expanse of the Universe to the micro world of Earth.
