Great score for reading 📖
I love Kris character - a simple guy and has the patience. Remind me of my better half exclude the hockey career.
I can’t wait to find out the next series with Gia.
It was a typical day in Pitsburgh
I thought I would give this author a chance considering the reviews were not bad even though the first line showed she has less skills than a fan fiction author.
The character development is much the same - it’s like reading a script. She tells you their trait’s straight up instead of building them like an artist painting layers in a portrait.
I didn’t get much further than a chapter after the sample but it looks to me that the sample had the benefit of an editor and then once you buy it it gets worse.
She doesn’t even know her audience, thinking she has to explain what the word “gold-digger” means.
Decent read, promise of more
I actually enjoyed this book but couldn’t get passed one major flaw... The French translations were so far off. I’m originally from Montreal and speak both and English and French fluently. One of my biggest pet peeves is when people try to pass off google translations as correct sentences.
This doesn’t take away from the story which is quite nice. It was just distracting for me to read each and every wrong translation.
