This is the second in a two-volume series that, using Captain Scott's journals as the main source, compile the findings of the Terra Nova Expedition of 1910–1912, which was primarily intended to serve scientific purposes. This volume begins with the winter journey to Cape Crozier and ends with a summary of the biological work carried out on the Terra Nova.
