Screaming at Sunrise

Never before in the history of the human race has the process of transferring human tissue from one person to another person ever thought  to be a possibility.  Blood transfusions of the wrong type will kill the recipient.  We transplants are the lucky few to be chosen to experience this life saving medical miracle.

We transplants and our donors are the first humans to pass through the door of life going in opposite directions and never knowing each other , but bound together for the remainder of our lives.  There is no information sheet that prepared us, only our effort to stay alive.  There is no instruction book on how we will deal with both the physical and emotional impact of this process we have gone through. Each of us deals with our own issues and continues on with our own lives. Each of us decides wether we will close down or open up  to our thoughts, feelings, and emotions.
