Scribble

Eddie Maung is always drawing, and it's starting to get him in trouble! From New York Times–bestselling author Gavin Aung Than comes a semi-autobiographical graphic novel perfect for fans of The Cartoonist's Club.

Eddie Maung loves to draw. He’s happiest when he’s drawing comics about an unstoppable superhero named Dagger. Eddie dreams of becoming a cartoonist someday, but his parents don’t understand his “scribbling.” They wish he were more like his older brother, who always gets good grades effortlessly. On top of that, Eddie’s dad won’t let him forget how difficult it was to immigrate from Myanmar so he could give the family a better life in Australia.

When Eddie’s scribbling costs him his best friend and gets him into big trouble at school, it jeopardizes everything he cares about most. Can he find his way back to the dream that started it all before it’s too late?
