Bea isn’t the only one with secrets. They are everywhere, from long lost letters to their own family members to the reappearance of a troubled young woman with her own burdens. Dynamic & desperate characters
SEDUCTIVE LIES is the second instalment in Tara Sue Me’s contemporary, adult THE BENEDICT BROTHERS erotic, romantic suspense series focusing on the Benedict Brothers: Keaton, Knox and Kipling. This is Knox Benedict, and twenty-nine year old attorney Bea Jacobs’ story line. SEDUCTIVE LIES can be read as a stand alone but I recommend reading the series in order as there is an ongoing premise throughout.

Told from dual omniscient third person perspectives (Bea and Knox), and first person Jade Mann, SEDUCTIVE LIES continues to follow in the aftermath of the attacks against Tilly Brock (Perilous Kiss), and our story line heroine. Someone is taking aim at the Benedict family, and the women they love are caught in the crossfire. Bea has been attacked, threatened and loved one gone missing, but her relationship with Knox may be the precipitating factor. Loving Knox Benedict means walking away when the threats become personal, and Bea refuses to place Knox in the direct line of fire. As the family continues to search for information about the past, someone else is taking aim at our story line couple. Meanwhile, the young homeless woman known as Jade, continues to find herself in a perilous situation. Somehow connected to the Benedict family, Jade will come in and out of their lives until the day new information comes to light, revealing the truth.
The world building continues to focus on the Benedict family, the death of their parents, and the connections to Tilly Brock and the man who has been blamed for destroying their lives. Bea Jacobs has fallen in love with Knox Benedict but her love may be what destroys them all.
The relationship between Bea and Knox is one of secrets. The family is more or less unaware of Bea and Knox’s relationship, a relationship that is much more than what is appears on the surface. Bea struggles to keep her distance but separation and love threaten them both. The $ex scenes are intimate without the use of over the top sexually graphic language and text.
The secondary and supporting characters include Knox’s brothers Keaton and Tilly (Perilous Kiss), Kipling; housekeeper Maggie, security Tom, as well as a Bea’s client Jade Mann.
SEDUCTIVE LIES is a story of power and control, betrayal and vengeance, secrets and lies, family and friendships, relationships and love.
