Serendipitous Romance

Aiden is struggling to reorganize his life after the loss of his wife. Reah is enjoying freedom after life in a foster system. Aiden has lived a solitary life for the last two years on the ranch of his dreams. Reah has enjoyed travelling for the last two years.

When Aiden offers room and board at his ranch in exchange for help, Reah accepts. She has stopped travelling long enough to get a job and replenish her bank account before going on the road again.

They are two young people definitely not ready for a romantic relationship. They become friends without intent as they help each other through their troubles. To Aiden, she is a nice girl who needs a place to stay. To Reah, he is a gentleman who accepts her for the free spirit that she is.

Love spoils everything when it descends on them unexpectedly. To Aiden, it is a bit of a shock but not unwelcome. To Reah, it is a threat to her new found freedom. She is ready to hop in her van and get out of there as fast as she can. Aiden tries not to repeat past mistakes. He can't stop this love from leaving any more than the last.
