There are seven continents on earth and these include Africa, Antarctica, Asia, Oceania (Australia), Europe, North America and South America. Each continent has different land areas and these are (sq. kilometer/sq.miles)-Total world Area 148,647,000 (57,393,000 ) 100 per cent of the land: Africa 30,065,000 (11,608,000) 20.4 per cent; Antarctica 13,209,000 (5,100,000) 8.9 per cent; Asia 44,579,000 (17,212,000) 30 per cent; Oceania 8,11,000 (3,312,000) 5.3 per cent; Europe 9,938,000 (3,837,000) 6.7 per cent; North America 24,474,000 (9,449,000) 16.5 per cent and South America 17,818,000 (6,879,000) 12 per cent.
