Good first-in-series collection
This is a great value first-in-series collection of stories. I really liked the first and third stories – Innocent Next-door and Secret Lovers - but didn’t enjoy Protection quite as much. I love Ms. Munro’s sassy and strong heroines. Sometimes, their sassiness is brash and out in the open and sometimes it is quieter but they all are amazing. And, her hero’s are definitely conquered by their ladies! There is humour and suspense in the stories and the plot moves along smoothly, and kept my interest throughout the stories. I recommend this series!

Three Great Contemporary Romances
While I’m a bigger fan of Shelley Munro’s shifter and sci-fi romances, this three-back of first-time-series contemporary romances was a great read. I particularly like role reversal in ‘Innocent Next Door’ (no spoilers, but she’s not the damsel in distress) and the oldies that made up the board in ‘Protection’. Secret Lovers wasn’t my favourite; it felt a bit drawn out, and the ending was a little unsatisfy. All told though, this three-pack is a great way to see which of Ms. Munro’s series interest you. For me, I think there will be more of the Military Men (of which ‘Innocent Next Door’ is a part of the series).
