Shadow Woman is an excellent read
I have long been a fan of Linda Howard’s, but It’s been quite a while since I have indulged. When I found this new-to-me book I knew I had to treat myself. And it was everything I love about her stories—the characters, escalating tension, sexy romance, and a well-timed unfolding mystery / adventure.
Right from the get-go I was hooked; a woman who looks in her mirror and the face she sees isn’t hers? Oh, heck yeah! And, as she has often done, Linda Howard has captured, and satisfied, my imagination. “Shadow Woman” joins my other favourite Linda Howard books on my re-read list.

I enjoyed reading this so much I finished reading it in less then 7 hours! I love Linda Howard's writing!! Her characters, I find are always interesting and quirky.
Entertaining but room for improvement
I found the book interesting but disappointed by all the filler, repetitive explanation, redundant information. The length could have been half and the book still as good. The ending was non-suspenseful. Felt author had more potential then story held.
Overall I would rate it mediocre compared to other reads.
