Shadows of the Seagulls

    This short story is based on characters of the upcoming novel, Marianna of the Sea.  A comparison of two couples is presented within this bittersweet tale.

    Relive a time when life was simpler, traffic was slower, and the Beach Boys music was the rave.  Hawaiian floral bathing suits and skirts, floppy straw hats, and sunglasses were the fashion here, and everywhere on the coast of Southern California in the mid-1970's.

    Marianna had wanted a final, great, and memorable event to end the summer with, before going back to school at U.C. Irvine, as she spent time with her friends.  Her plans didn't end up the way she had hoped for.  Find out what happens next in this bittersweet adventure romance!
